Our farrier Walter Varcoe came to both camps to take care of our horses hooves.  He demonstrates and explains to the girls the importance of good hoof care.  A horses hooves are surprisingly sensitive and understanding how to take care of them properly is key to becoming a stong confident horse women!  The girls learn about the tools of the trade, how one horse differs from another, and different techniques to correct hoof issues.
