Dan Weir

Known for randomly showing up in costume like a giant banana suit, Dan Weir has been working at Frost Valley YMCA for the past 15 years. He oversees the Resident, Farm, and Adventure Camp as well as the Teen Adventure Trip program. Dan loves the life long friendships people make at camp like when he met his wife at Frost Valley in 2002. He recently completed his Master's degree specializing in Youth Development from Stony Brook University. In the other few hours of the day when not being a camp director, Dan loves to snowboard, read, cook and take his dog June Carter for walks.
Megan Lawrence
Director of Camp Wawayanda

Megan has been a part of the Frost Valley Summer Camp Team since 2008, acting as the Assistant Program Director for two summers and as the Program Director for one summer and now as the Wawayanda Director. She graduated in 2009 with a degree in Summer Fun (Natural Resource Based Recreation) from Michigan State University. She’s never shy about dressing up silly for a theme day and loves spending time down at the waterfront on hot summer days.
Kam Kobeissi
Director of Camp Henry Hird

Kam has been working at Frost Valley since Summer 2006. Before making his way to Frost Valley YMCA, he was extremely active in the YMCA’s teen leaders club, PACAA. Kam also has a background of graphic design earning a Bachelor’s degree from Bradley Academy for the Visual Arts. He also loves painting, reading Walt Whitman out loud at the top of his lungs, writing haikus and playing Xbox 360.
