Filled with adventure and challenge, our camp for teens encourages initiative and leadership skills. Grounded by teamwork, our focus is on fostering an appreciation for one’s self worth and the value of others.
Campers are given wider choices, including extended overnights for backpacking, service projects, big brother/sister events and the excitement of adventure elements like high ropes and the zip line. Special camp-wide celebrations bring all together as a community. The end result: Hird campers exceed their own expectations in developing strong bonds, the self-confidence to lead and the poise to become role models for others. Campers are placed in villages according to school grade and gender.
