Why should you choose Frost Valley for your School Trip?
Opportunities await your students at Frost Valley YMCA. Set in the middle of the “forever wild” Catskill Mountain Preserve, our classroom opens up a new world full of wonder, excitement and experiments.
Frost Valley YMCA is internationally known as a leader in environmental research, practice and education. The centerpiece of our environmental education efforts is our residential school program, which helps 14,000 students and teachers each year learn to become responsible stewards of the natural world. We know how to foster skills for trust, communication, positive group dynamics, and problem-solving.
We design and conduct our classes to help you meet learning standards for NY and NJ state curriculum and the requirements of New York City Watershed Education Grants.
Our camp is founded on sound principles of environmental awareness and the importance of teaching stewardship skills to children facing a global future.
