Tonight during dinner, a Susky camper came up and asked “What’s the 251 mean?” For those of you who have been in the dining hall this summer and last, you may have noticed the large numbers hanging up by the fireplace.  Those numbers are part of our 332 fundraising campaign, which aims to raise enough money to provide scholarships to 332 campers.  These campers may be part of summer camp or one of our year-round programs.  The 251 means that we’re working to raise money for 251 more campers.   I explained this to the Susky camper.  She said “I’m happy you do this.  I need to have a scholarship to go to camp every year.”  She was so grateful for all that Frost Valley does to help campers like her come to camp every year.
