Retreats for Scout Troops in the Catskills!
Frost Valley YMCA offers enriching Scouting Programs for Girl Scouts*, Scouting for All*, Baden-Powell Scouts Association*, Cub Scouts*, and Scouts BSA* at Main Camp or East Valley Ranch. We provide experiences for young people that build character by teaching responsibility for our environment and respect for our fellow citizens. Join us for a weekend away designed to challenge them to go beyond their limits and to reach new heights as a troop. With the encouragement of their peers, leaders and our experienced staff, they will succeed. With several weekends dedicated to helping scouts build skills in many different arenas – from horseback riding to arts & crafts, to nature and conservation – Frost Valley YMCA builds young leaders.
Our Main Camp easily accommodates large councils while still providing a personalized experience for individual troops. We take care of the meals
(Saturday breakfast through Sunday breakfast) and programming so you
can focus on the girls.
East Valley Ranch offers both a bed-and-breakfast style lodge that sleeps up to 35 guests, as well as Mongolian yurts that sleep an additional 60 guests. Work on badge work while bonding with nature and each other (any badges or beltloops should be obtained through your local council).
