Experience some of the best cross-country skiing New York State has to offer! Set on 6,000 acres deep in the Catskill Mountains, Frost Valley YMCA offers over 25 kilometers of trails. Whether it’s the miles of beautiful back-country trails, or skiing beside pristine streams, there’s something for all ages and abilities!  We also offer groomed and track set trails when conditions allow.

Cross Country skiing is typically open on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30am-4:30pm from December through March.  Conditions are constantly changing, so ensure that trails are open before you visit by calling our ski hotline at 845-985-2291 ext 396 for the most up to date information.  All guests must check in at the Ski Barn. One driver’s license is required per party to ski on our trails. We no longer accept reservations for day groups, and will rent equipment on a first come, first served basis. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Our rates have changed in 2013.  A full day rate is $40 per person, and a half day rate (starting at 12:00pm) is $25 per person.  This rate includes a trail pass, lunch, and access to all Frost Valley activities.  Rentals are $12 for a full day and $6 for a half day.
