Important Day Camp Forms:

Day Camp programs provide local children (4-16 years old) with the Frost Valley experience. Each day children are engaged in games, sports, and arts & craft, and activities like Project Adventure, Low Ropes, Climbing Tower, and a variety of hikes. Swimming and boating at the waterfront takes place everyday.

Explorers Day Camp (ages 4-6)

An introduction to Day Camp provides the best combination of a day camp and a pre-school program. 

Youth Day Camp (Grades K-5)

Our best version of the traditional day camp program especially geared for youth in grades 1-5.

Tween Camp (Grades 6)

We’ve been listening. Is your child “too old” for Day Camp, but too young to join the Teen Program. This program, for those who have completed 6th grade. We’ll get the campers planning their activities, hiking the local Catskill Peaks, and leaving Main Camp for excursions.

Teen Adventure Program (Grades 7-10)

Choose one or more of our jam-packed sessions, each with its own individually themed activities and trips:

  • High Ropes Challenge
  • It is EXTREME! Challenge yourself like you have never been challenged before! Get in the trees and conquer all the high ropes you can handle. Each day will be jam-packed with giant swings and ladders, zip lines, swinging logs and a team challenge course.  Harness your inner monkey!

  • Trip Camp
  • We are getting out and going BIG! Each day we will travel to a new location discovering all it has to offer. If you want to see more than your town this summer, this is the session for you! (Did we say AMUSEMENT PARK?!!!) 

  • Survivor: Frost Valley

    Strength, skill, brains, leadership? What will it take to complete the challenge of the day? Work with your team to SURVIVE!!! Meet the challenges and learn to succeed! Action and adventure daily.

  • Outdoor Adventures
  • Two-weeks of outdoor fun! Hiking, camping rock-climbing, and fishing will be the highlights of this action-packed session! Come enjoy the great outdoors.

  • Wet-'N-Wild

    Back again! Tubing, river hikes, water wars, swimming holes, and trips away to experience the wettest and wildest! Don't miss your chance to be a part of one of the greatest sessions in TEEN ADVENTURES history!

  • Arts Camp
  • Calling all aspiring artists, we have the session for you! Your week will be filled with paints, cameras, poetry, a museum trip, landscapes and more! Everyone is welcome, from beginners to experts!

  • A G.I.S. & G.P.S. Adventure

    Geographic Information Systems and Global Positioning System technology will be used for geo-caching (global treasure hunt), scavenger hunts, mapping and more. This session partners hiking the great outdoors with some of today's most exciting and demanding technologies, and will provide for an outstanding and educational week. Classes are taught by Ben Snyder, Environmental Science Coordinator.

Leaders-in-Training Program (15-16 year olds):  July 2-13

Set yourself up for success. Gain the skills all employers are looking for -  Leadership. This active two-week session is led by a Leadership and adventure guru, and will surely change your life. A wilderness camping experience will highlight this session.


Lifeguard Training Program (15-18 year olds): July 16-27

Learn and earn Red Cross Lifeguard Certification and the necessary certifications that go along with this training, as well as additional waterfront and camp skills.(Must pass test to gain certification.

Equestrian Center Programs

“Hoof-Beats Horsemanship Day Camp”

This is a specialty day camp program for youth who want to spend time with horses this summer.  Hoof-Beats Day Campers will spend three hours each day at the barn riding, and learning all about horse health and care.  They will have the chance to truly connect with a horse and gain a sense of ownership throughout the session.  The remainder of the day will be spent doing other traditional activities including; arts & crafts, waterfront, and games.  This program is designed for youth of all ages and skill levels, as riders will be broken into skill groups on the first day of camp! 

Ages 7 and up, All Skill Levels

Sessions Available: Monday-Friday 9:00am-4:30pm

Session 1: June 30th to July 11th

Session 2: July 14th-July 25th

Session 3: July 28th to August 8th

Session 4: August 11th to August 22nd

Cost Per Person: $375 or with bussing $435

“Rough Riders Day Camp”This is an all new riding camp designed just for older campers.  Spend time learning about horses with other teens who share your interests.  Rough Riders will learn all about Western games and competitions including; Western Pleasure, Barrel Racing, Trail Obstacle Courses, and Pole Bending.  Spend time working on a drill team to perform at the end of the session.  Rough Riders schedule is broken up into blocks of riding and other activities.  Some days will allow for trips to Waterfront and activities outside of the barn, while other days will include extended trail rides and more focused ride time!

Ages 12 and up, Previous Horse Experience Preferred

Sessions Available: Monday-Friday 9:00am-4:30pm

Session 1: June 30th to July 11th

Session 2: July 14th-July 25th
