Frost Valley YMCA is internationally known as a leader in environmental research, practice and education. The centerpiece of our environmental education efforts is our residential school program, which helps 14,000 students and teachers each year learn to become responsible stewards of the natural world.

At Frost Valley , Environmental Education focuses on EDUCATION, and environmental or ecological issues are only a part of a multifaceted program. We offer 50 different courses for schools to choose from, allowing the students an experience which complements and enhances their lessons back in the classroom.

A large part of Environmental Education revolves around developing interpersonal relationships. Our program includes group activities that extend communication skills and help to build mutual trust through teamwork.
