Frost Valley operates a safe, affordable Day Camp for children and families in Sullivan and Ulster Counties. Our Day Camp activities are based in the kinds of healthy fun activities that help children grow in spirit, mind and body, as well as embrace the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. These values help set Frost Valley’s programs apart.
Explorers Ages 4-6: Our youngest campers spend their time exploring all Frost Valley YMCA has to offer at their own speed. Small hikes, daily access to our supervised waterfront, games and crafts will fill your camper’s day—at a fun but relaxing pace!
Day Campers Ages 7-12: Campers have an action packed day starting off with morning announcements and songs, then continuing with activities that include arts and crafts, sports of all sorts, Incredible Edibles, science, music and crazy camp-wide events! Campers will also have the chance to participate in group initiatives, teambuilding, self-challenges, and climbing on our adventure and ropes courses. Activities are planned according to age and with the goal of allowing every child to develop positive self-esteem and confidence.
Teen Adventures Ages 13-16: Teens can enjoy days planned to build leadership skills, confidence and opportunities for positive socialization. Teens choose their own adventures from a range of options. Teen campers hike the farthest, swim the longest, and travel to off-site adventures the most!
