Our Equestrian Day Camp programs offer children a chance to learn all about horses—from riding to health care. There are options for the beginner to the advanced rider. See the descriptions below for the option that best suits your child.

This is a one week camp designed to give younger campers the chance to spend time with horses. Campers ages 5-8 are welcome to join us for Pony Camp. Each day campers will enjoy time at the barn. They will have pony rides, learn about grooming, horse care, and how much fun horses can be. Horsey crafts, treats and games, make this a week to remember. In addition to time at the barn, campers will also go to waterfront and have a games period each day. Designed for campers with little or no horse experience.

Hoof-Beats is a specialty day camp program for youth who want to spend time with horses this summer. Campers will spend the afternoon each day at the barn riding, and learning all about horse health and care. They will have the chance to truly connect with a horse and gain a sense of ownership throughout the session. The remainder of the day will be spent doing other traditional activities including; arts & crafts, waterfront, and games. This program is designed for youth ages 8 and up or all riding abilities, as riders will be broken into skill groups on the first day of camp!

This two week horsemanship camp is designed for campers who love horses, and want to learn everything about them. Campers will learn a variety of skills both on and off the horse. They will participate in ring lessons, trail rides, bareback riding, as well as learning all about horse health and care. Enjoy crafts and other horse related activities each day at the barn. Campers will still enjoy waterfront and several other traditional camp activities throughout the session. It is a unique opportunity for campers for a limited number of campers. Western Adventure Grades 5+

Special 6 week session, July 3-Aug 12
NEW! Campers who are looking to really progress and improve their riding skills and horsemanship abilities should join us for this program. This six week session will allow campers the opportunity to work with same staff and horses. They will enjoy several field trips and guest speakers to give them a more in depth look at the variety of ways in which horses are used. This is designed as a six-week progression based program and campers will learn new skills each week. Western Adventures will still enjoy waterfront and a few traditional camp activities. However the focus of the program will be horses!
Important Information about Equestrian Day Camps:
• Sturdy shoes or boots and long pants are required every day for your child to be at the barn.
• Equestrian Programs require a minimum of five participants to run.
• Camper skills will be tested on the first day of camp to be assigned to lesson group. If a camper does not meet the riding requirement for their program they will be assigned to the program most appropriate for their skill level.
• During weather unsafe for riding, campers will participate in ground lessons on horse topics. Missed ride time will be made up if possible.
