1.When can groups or families come to Frost Valley?
The Forstmann Conference Center’s weekend programs begin Labor Day and continue through Father's Day. Mid-week programs occur during Presidents Day break in February and the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day. After Father's Day Frost Valley's Summer Camp program is in session. The Straus Center is available during the summer season for adult education and small group use. The last week in August, the Forstmann Conference Center runs a six-night Family Camp program.

2. Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed on Frost Valley YMCA grounds.

3. What are the rates/fees?
Weekend rates are based on a per person charge. Adult and child rates are set up to include lodging, food service and most programs.

4. When is check-in and check-out?
Check-In on Friday is from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. Stop by the Administration Building to check in your family or group. Check-out on Sunday from lodges is 12 p.m. and from camp by 2 p.m.

Frost Valley provides a wide range of programs during a weekend stay. Programs are recreational and educational in nature and enjoyed by all ages.

6. How long does it take to get to Frost Valley YMCA from the tri-state area?
Frost Valley YMCA is 2-1/2 hours northwest of the Tri-State area of northern New Jersey and New York City 2 hours east of Binghamton and 2 hours southwest of Albany.

7. Do you serve vegetarian meals?
Frost Valley YMCA can accommodate vegetarian requests. Contact the registrar at reservations@frostvalley.org two weeks in advance. Special dietary needs should be shared with our staff ahead of time, to best meet the needs of your group.

8.Check list of things one should bring if staying at camp.
Attire at Frost Valley YMCA is casual and comfortable. You’ll want to enjoy the outdoors during your stay, so dress for the season and the activities. Layered clothing is recommended during cold weather months so you can enjoy all the great outdoor fun that comes with a Catskill winter! Suggestions:

- Towels, pillows, blankets, and bed linens are included in rates for the Castle, Margetts Lodge, and the Straus Center. With advance notice, towels, pillows, blankets, and bed linens are available in all other buildings at $6 per set.
- Alcohol is not permitted on the grounds or in areas shared by the general camp community. Pets, fireworks, firearms and ATV’s are also strictly prohibited. All buildings a re smoke free. No cigarette, cigar or pipe smoking is permitted in any buildings.
