Many of our groups return to Frost
Valley YMCA for multiple conferences. Each year we serve approximately
13,000 individuals attending with families or groups from various
backgrounds. These individuals come from mainly the tri-state area.
Denise Hopkins,
Associate Director of Student Development
St. Johns University
"We wanted our Emerging Leaders in our Student Leadership program at St. John’s University to have a positive growth experience in a fun and beautiful environment. Thanks to the Frost Valley YMCA staff, our students engaged in Project Adventure, which they uniformly agreed was the highlight of their weekend. During these challenges the students were able to band and work together to complete various tasks. The experiences and skills built at this retreat will contribute to the success of our student leaders. Thank you Frost Valley Staff for all your help and support during our retreat and we look forward to coming back to Frost Valley in the future."
Shimon Waronker,
Principal CIS 22
"As the sixth principal in 2 years of one of the most violent schools in the Bronx, our staff needed to come together as a community. Frost Valley was a critical player to help ensure we developed a common vision and purpose. We are grateful to the outstanding, professional facilitators, but most importantly I feel that the values of caring, teamwork, trust, responsibility, patience and love are what make Frost Valley great. Thank You! God Bless."
Major Scott Rosenbaum,
Dewitt HS ROTC
“We loved it—we were challenged & met the challenges. Directions were good and the messages about pushing self were excellent.”
Bradley Irion,
Rare NYC Salon
“It was the time we needed as a group to stop, take a look at what we are and what we have done and where we are going, and the 35 ft. Leap of faith wasn’t bad either!”
Ruth Roche,
Rare NYC Salon
“[Frost Valley is] A great place to bring a team that is normally very busy and in stressful situation (especially city folk!) It was great to get away from our own environment and be out of touch with the world for a few days while we focused on our dreams and goals.”
