The Build Strong! Capital Campaign is aimed at raising $6.2 million dollars for the construction of two critically important projects, a Wellness Center and a Family Center

   The Mitchell Family Center is focused on the needs of families, national YMCA trainings, small business and non-profit board retreats and includes the renovation of the old girls dining hall and the construction of a residential lodge housing a total of 68 people. This building features motel-style rooms and comfortable amenities as well as two apartments for the seasonal doctors, nurses and group leaders. Renovations of Geyer Hall are now complete and construction of the residential lodge is moving along quickly with an unveiling expected in April.

   The Guenther Family Wellness Center is aimed at providing top level health care for our growing number of campers and families throughout the year as well as providing much need indoor space for our expanded program offerings. On the main level is the Kidney Dialysis Wing to serve children attending summer camp through the Ruth Carol Gottscho Kidney Foundation. Adjacent to this will be the Health Center Wing which will provide increased space and improved amenities. On the ground level the Program and Education Center will contain 2 classrooms, a multi-use art room, as well as an approximately 150-seat theatre.
