Greetings from a motley landscape!

Fall is in full swing here at Frost Valley.  I have moved the ‘office’ up to the Valley and as I look out the window at the beautiful trees full of vibrant reds, yellows, and purples, I am pleased with the decision.  As the summer fades into fall, the leaves are not the only changes happening here at Frost Valley!

We are continuing to Build Strong every day.  The wellness center is looking more like a building every day and is expected to be ready by June of ’08.  Thank you to all the Alumni who have donated to make this happen.  Paving is going down on the path from the dining hall as well as in front of Margetts.  It will be much safer area to drive on once they are finished.  The new houses on the outskirts of White Pond are almost complete and should be utilized by the end of next month.  And if you saw the update on Al Filreis’ blog, the old cabins (the teens as they have been called) are out and the new cabins are finished and expected to be employed in the next few weeks.

Those old cabins have created quite a stir of nostalgia in the Alumni world.  Many of you are looking into buying the cabins or even just the numbers off the front.  Bids are closed, but if you are hearing about this for the first time, go to Al’s blog http://frostvalleyalumni.blogspot.com/ and see the good word for yourself.  It’s under September ’07 and Cabin 18, We’ll Miss You.
