Alumni Meeting

The Annual Alumni Meeting at Frost Valley will be held on Saturday, April 26th, at 4 PM.  It is not too late to participate!  If you would like to attend this weekend, please contact Melissa Pauls by emailing alumni@frostvalley.org or call 845.985.2291 ext. 208.

Triathalon

Frost Valley YMCA is hosting a Staff/Alumni Triathlon!  The date is Sunday, May 18th at 3 PM.  The triathlon will consist of a 14 mile bike ride, 3 mile run, and a swim/boat—for swimmers, half-way across Lake Cole and back; for boaters, all the way across Lake Cole and back.  The contest has two divisions: teams and individuals.  For more information, contact Katie Taylor (ktaylor@frostvalley.org) or Kevin Terrell (kterrell@frostvalley.org).  Here’s to BUILDING STRONG bodies!

Summer Camp

Summer Camp is looking for male counselors who possess experience with developmentally delayed children.  These counselors would work in our MAC Program (Mainstreaming At Camp).  Frost Valley partners with YAI (Young Adult Institute) to make sure camp is offered to all children.  If you know someone who would be ideal for the position, please contact Dan Weir (dweir@frostvalley.org) or Kelly Zingone (kzingone@frostvalley.org)

Summer Ambassadors

We are looking for volunteers this summer! Volunteers would help FV staff and greet parents at bus transportation sights.  The dates are Sunday, June 29, July 13, July 27, and August 10.  Your services and smiles would be needed for a little over an hour.  Bus locations include Montclair, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Newark, Teaneck, or Long Island.  To volunteer, please contact Melissa Pauls (alumni@frostvalley.org)

Annual Dinner

Dari Litchman and her husband Jonathan Dahan are thrilled to announce the expansion of their family.  Zoe Emre Dahan arrived on April 17, 2008 at 11:49pm, 7 pounds, 20 inches.
