Volunteers - Ways To Get Involved

If you would like to be on the volunteer mailing list, please submit your information on the Volunteer Questionnaire.

There are several options for volunteering at Frost Valley YMCA:

Program Volunteers are those whose service relates to program activities of Frost Valley YMCA, including but not limited to resident camp, community programs, environmental education, conference programs, adult education, adventure programs, and natural resources programming.

Facility Volunteers are those whose service relates to the physical plant of Frost Valley YMCA, including but not limited to maintenance, infrastructure, housekeeping, forestry, and food services.

Administrative Volunteers are those whose service relates to the administration of Frost Valley YMCA, including but not limited to finance services, human resources, alumni relations, volunteer relations, front desk/reception operations, marketing/communication and other clerical duties.

Fundraising Volunteers are those whose service relates to annual giving, capital, grant-based or other contributed income for the Frost Valley YMCA.

A volunteer work weekend is held each spring to help with special projects and initiatives in support of Frost Valley’s mission and programs. A variety of jobs may include such projects as building picnic tables or Adirondack chairs, gardening, sewing or light office work. All volunteers stay complimentary.
