Hosted by Frost Valley
YMCA's Straus Center, the Fly Fishing School is located in pristine
forests at the base of Slide Mountain, where meadows, ponds, cascading
waterfalls, and world renowned trout streams make this one of the
most scenic facilities in the country. This renovated turn
of the century estate features tastefully furnished rooms and outstanding
wellness cuisine.
The Program
With over six miles of
private waterways, Frost Valley sits right in the center of the
Catskills "Charmed Circle" of fly-fishing. This
historic water is where fly fishing began.
Instructor,

of Montana at Missoula. For over 25 years he worked as a fisheries
biologist for the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
