Frost Valley YMCA Will Open Lakeview Lodge On April 1
Lakeview Lodge, a 24-room lodging and conference facility at Frost Valley YMCA in Claryville, NY, will officially open on April 1.
This new addition at Frost Valley YMCA blends modern technology with a comfortable atmosphere. Lakeview Lodge has been built as a perfect venue for meeting and conferencing needs, complete with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment and breakout rooms. Groups can run their own program, or Frost Valley’s staff can tailor one for them.
The new facility will also be ideal for families who are seeking modern accommodations and amenities.
The lodge features eight rooms that can each sleep four guests and fourteen rooms are set up for double-occupancy. There are also two suites that provide facilities for five guests each. In total, Lakeview Lodge has a capacity to house up to 70 guests.
As the name suggests, Lakeview sits majestically above Lake Cole and provides stunning views of the water and the mountainous backdrop.
Frost Valley YMCA is has begun accepting room reservations for Lakeview Lodge for April 1st and beyond.
The construction of Lakeview Lodge is part of a three-phase building project. The adjacent Geyer Hall (formerly McLain Lodge) has undergone a complete renovation and expansion. This project has resulted in a larger, improved space that can better serve guests participating in retreat, educational and recreational activities.
The upper level of Geyer Hall now consists of a beautiful dining area, a full commercial kitchen and five activity “breakout” rooms utilized for group activities. On the lower level, there is a large meeting area, a staff fitness center and spacious recreation room for activities such as floor hockey and indoor archery. There is also a wall for rock climbing.
