Free Weekend Ice Skating For Local Residents At Frost Valley YMCA
CLARYVILLE, NY— Area residents are invited to enjoy free weekend ice skating at Frost Valley YMCA in Claryville this winter.
Residents of Delaware, Sullivan and Ulster counties are welcome to participate in free ice skating outings on Fridays from 5-11 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m.-11 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Visitors must supply their own skates. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The ice skating rink is directly across from the Frost Valley main entrance.
Residents of these three counties are also invited to benefit from Frost Valley’s Weekend Local Recreation Program which provides special rates for area residents (including second homeowners).
Visitors from Delaware, Ulster and Sullivan counties can visit Frost Valley to participate in exciting winter activities like snow tubing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, hiking, arts and crafts, floor hockey, sugar cookie class, indoor rock climbing, broomball and more.
Half-day rates for the Weekend Local Recreation Program are $10 for a choice of programs and lunch. Full-day rates for programming and lunch are $15. These rates do not apply to cross-country skiing or horseback riding, when these programs are offered. To sign up for the Weekend Local Recreation Program, visitors should stop at the Frost Valley Administration Building, the first structure one sees near the main entrance.
