Sunday, May 18: A Japanese Cherry Blossom Concert will be held from 10:30 a.m.-noon in the Friendship House at Frost Valley YMCA in Claryville, NY. Shigeaki Hoshi, music director, will be conducting. The group will be performing a traditional folk music from both American and Japanese cultures. The concert will be free, but donations will be accepted. Frost Valley YMCA Camp and Conference Center is located at .2000 Frost Valley Road in Claryville. Guests should stop at the administration building (first building on the right inside the main entrance) to check in and they will be directed to the Friendship House. Saturday, May 24: A Red Cross Blood Drive will be held at Frost Valley YMCA from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Margetts Lodge. Blood donors are asked to pre-register by call 845 985-2291, ext. 225. Walk-ins will also be welcome. All blood donors are required to stop at the Administration Building (first building on right off the main entrance) to check-in and they will be provided with directions to Margetts Lodge.
