A cloudy, humid day but full of happy emotions. The end of the first two weeks session. Everyone was into getting the last good bit of fun out of the program schedule, but also reflective, communal, pre-nostalgic.

I love walking around camp — outdoors across the fields and along the paths and trails — and you can see many, many photos I’ve taken of such ventures over the years at “Al’s Frost Valley Alumni Blog.” Go over there to have a look. The blog features especially historical FV photos but also various scenes and events and people of summers here since 2007. Anyway, yesterday it was the dining hall. Oh, the faces you see there. Read moreIt is nearly 10pm on Monday night and I am trying desperately to upload as many photos of Mustang Village and East Valley Ranch as I can. The first day is usually light on photos….and East Valley Ranch had a slight camera issue…which has now been resolved 🙂 You will notice more and more photos posted on SmugMug as the session continues! Hope you enjoy!

Read moreJust wanted to give everyone a heads up… if you’ve received the email with the link to the SmugMug photo account… THERE ARE NEW PHOTOS POSTED! I promised to get some up and they are looking great! The kids are having a great time, and it shows! The counselors are enjoying themselves and we’re all learning alot! Keep checking in here in the coming days! We’re going to start having other staff members post their own updates here & let you know what they’re thinking of this whole Farm Camp thing!
